About Ivan Cai

Ivan Cai is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chuan Kok Hardware & Machinery, a distributor of steel and stainless steel pipes, valves and fittings. He is also the Co-Founder of I Quadrant, a financial education company.

Ivan began his career in electrical engineering through winning the Marvell Scholarship. He then transformed Chuan Kok Hardware into a leading piping products distribution company in Singapore. He achieved this by revisiting the values of the company, focusing on excellent customer service, passion, continuous growth and positive team spirit.

In 2017, Ivan saw an opportunity in real estate in Singapore and ventured into real estate Investments. Through that, his family now owns more than 20 properties in Singapore.

Ivan believes strongly in contributing and making a difference in his team members’ lives. He ensures they are constantly upgrading themselves, from personal development programmes to skills-based courses.

As the head of the research team at I Quadrant, Ivan possesses the analytical mind that has made him a successful investor.

But do not be fooled by his looks. More than a numbers guy, Ivan has a big heart and goofy nature.

If you ask anyone who associates with Ivan, you will find that he is often remembered for his generosity and the jokes he cracks.

A big proponent of personal development, Ivan believes in continuous self improvement so he can give more to his family, co-founders and employees. He also encourages others to do the same. Ever humble and filled with gratitude, Ivan never fails to credit those who has helped him become the person he is today.

Community Involvement

Ivan Cai strongly believes in giving back to the community. 

Chuan Kok held a charity event at Dignity Kitchen. The team presented the organisation with a cash donation and served lunch. 

During the luncheon, the team entertained the elderly with songs and the room brightened with the cheers and laughter of the elderly. It was truly a touching and heartwarming experience.

This was one of the most memorable events as it constantly reminds us of the love and care that we should always have towards the society; whether young or old.
